The goal here is to fill the void out there on the net for everybody who wants clear unbiased information on Murphy beds. It seems that any information on Murphy beds is centered around sites that want to sell you their bed or hardware.

Well let’s just see if we can’t change that,

I am not going to try and sell you a Murphy bed that costs several thousand dollars. I will try and tell you how you can build it yourself or buy it and save possibly thousands.

So what makes me qualified to tell you this,

Well, I have been building Murphy beds for ten years. My clients have been architects, designers, TV shows, fire halls and people just like you. There are not to many places that I have not installed a Murphy bed in. I even installed one in a barn once… but that’s another story.

I have done so much with Murphy beds that I found myself wanting a new challenge and goal. Looking at all my experience and knowledge, I decided to write this blog to assist those who like me want all the information they can get to make an informed purchase or simply want to build it themselves and save lots of money.

I still manufacture Murphy beds and storage solutions although I only do it part time so I can focus on my other interests and goals.

When I am not building, researching, planning or fixing something I can usually be found walking our dog with my wife, spending time with the family or watching a movie.
